I was first on a repayment program for almost a year after my divorce and then the modification was implemented. I have made every payment in a timely manner for the past two years. At this time, I am unable to make the current month's schedule payment and most likely will be unable to make the December payment as well. I have been in contact with representatives of Carrington Mortgage since September, 2011. In my last conversation with a rep of Carrington, I was told I could not make a partial or good faith payment -- it would be returned/rejected. I am requesting interjection from Genesis to assist me with my mortgage company in order to remain in my home that I have worked so diligently to keep.
